Network Practice Quizzes
« on: February 05, 2012, 07:47:15 am »
Here's some additional practice that I found and wanted to share. I'm not sure if it's specific to the Network+ exam, but a lot of it should be covered. I hope it proves to be useful.

Here's another one that looks pretty good.

I'll add this one to the wiki too.

Here's my contribution to the thread. RM Roberts has quite a collection of Study Guides, Practice Exams, and Pop Quizzes that we can add to the mix.

Also added to the Wiki. At this rate, we may have to start a separate page just for the practice exercises. Way to go, let's keep the thread going.

After burning through numerous practice exams I've went ahead and scheduled my exam for the 23rd. Now I know I might be frowned upon for asking this question, BUT, after going through various practice exams I wanted to know if any of you have stumbled across one that closely mirrors the real exam. When I purchased my voucher they gave me a 100 question practice exam as a PDF (you'll see it in the attachment) and I was curious as to how closely that mirrored the exam as well.

Now, in no way shape or form am I brain dumping or trying to brain dump. I believe after weeks of studying I have a decent grasp of the content and just want to reaffirm what is already in my head as well as prepare myself on what to expect on the real exam.

Well, without trying to pick it apart question by question, the exercise seems to have a fairly wide-spread coverage of the objectives and presents the material in a fashion that seems to reflect that of the actual exams, at least as best they could in a paper format.

The questions for the actual exam will be drawn from a pool of several hundred, if not thousands of questions and the content could pulled from any part of the objectives. Over all, I think this is a good representation of what you might expect.

Just take the time to closely read and understand what each question is asking and rule out any obviously wrong answers before answering. Be sure to mark any questions that you might have doubts about, and review them after you make your first pass through the exam. A lot of times, another question will cover a similar topic and may give clues to those you were unsure of. You'll have plenty of time, use it all.

By the way, how did you do on this one? I found myself scratching my head more than once.

I skimmed the first portion of it but haven't actually sat down and hammered it out completely yet because I'm at work. As for the other practice tests, I'm wrapping up the exam compass practice tests, but the only one I've actually had major issues with is the Pearson Vue link posted above. Aside from that I'm just chipping away and hope to have positive results for all of you shortly!
